The villa is just a stone’s throw from the medieval town of Montepulciano. Standing high atop a hill not far from Siena, the town of Montepulciano boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia. In just one hour by car, you can also reach Montalcino, extremely well-known for the production of its Brunello red wine, one of the world’s most appreciated Italian wines.

The villa is a few kilometers from Perugia, Umbria’s largest city. Its historic center rises in a helter-skelter of cobbled alleys, arched stairways and piazzas framed by churches and palazzi. Reminders of its lively past are everywhere, from ancient arches and medieval basilicas to Renaissance frescoes. But while history reverberates all around, Perugia knows how to party: university students pep up the nightlife and fill café terraces, while music-lovers swarm to the city in July for Umbria Jazz, one of Europe’s top jazz festivals.

In just one hour by car, you can reach Assisi, best known as the birthplace of Saint Francis of Assisi. With the plains spreading picturesquely below and Monte Subasio rearing steep and wooded above, the mere sight of Assisi in the rosy glow of dusk is enough to send pilgrims’ souls spiraling to heaven. It is at this hour, when the town is shrouded in saintly silence, that the spirit of Saint Francis can be felt most keenly. However, you don’t have to be religious to be struck by Assisi’s beauty.

This luxurious recently-restored country mansion dating back to the 18th century can accommodate 32 guests in 16 sumptuous suites with double bedroom.

The property features a romantic dining area in what was once the old wine cellar and where today you can taste an array of traditional Tuscan dishes designed to tempt your palate. This beautiful dining room features a wood-beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. During summer, you can also choose to enjoy your meals in a gorgeous al fresco dining area by the swimming pool. The swimming pool is enormous and offers plenty of shady areas for relaxing afternoon naps as you soak up the warmth of true Tuscan hospitality.

The villa’s Lounge Bar is located at the edge of our beautiful swimming pool, in a classic and elegant setting enriched by the delicate tapestries, precious marbles and craftsmanship of our local artists, which enhance the history of our family, where the villa’s guests will enjoy refreshing cocktails and fine liqueurs in the serene atmosphere of an ancient palace, pampered by the delicate music of our classics. 2 Deluxe Spa Cottage: The ancient granary and the small stable were restored and transformed in two romantic Deluxe Cottages, particularly suitable for those who seek for privacy. Situated in the middle of the garden of the property, boasting an independent entrance and a private garden, this suite features luxury fabrics, exposed wood beams and terracotta floors, flowers decorations, king-size bed, bathroom with shower, Turkish bath, aromatherapy, chromo therapy and music therapy and Nespresso coffee machine.

1 Classic Spa Junior Suite: Very elegant and spacious room, provided with a lovely seating area with comfortable sofa and armchairs, bedroom furnished with elegance and style, king-size bed, exposed wood beams and terracotta floors and Nespresso coffee machine. The Junior Suite is located at the ground floor and is provided with bathroom with shower, Turkish bath, aromatherapy, chromo therapy and music therapy.

1 Classic Suite: Very elegant and wide room, provided with a lovely seating area with comfortable sofa and armchairs, bedroom furnished with elegance and style, comfortable king-size bed, exposed wood beams and terracotta floors and Nespresso coffee machine. The Classic Suite is located on the second floor and is provided with bathroom with shower, and a beautiful private terrace with a lovely view over the town of Cortona.

5 Deluxe Suite Spa: Wonderful suites dedicated to wellness with an exclusive private spa in room, Turkish bath with multisensorial showers, aromatherapy, chromo therapy and music therapy, double Jacuzzi tub, living room, super king-size bed, luxury fabrics, exposed wood beams, and elegant parquet floors. These suites are very spacious, with a size of about 60 square meters each. The suites located on the ground floor and have a private garden.
