Location and Surrounding Area
Located on Capri, the most beautiful island in the bay of Naples, this exclusive four-bedroom villa is ideally situated to offer tranquility to its guests, providing a matchless seaside retreat in Southern Italy. A popular destination since the 19th century, Capri is notable for its residences, gardens and Roman ruins. With its whitewashed buildings and car-free streets, Capri exudes a cinematic air. Steep cliffs rise majestically from an impossibly blue sea, elegant villas drip with wisteria and even the trees seem to be carefully manicured.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Villa San Michele. The former home of Swedish doctor, psychiatrist and animal-rights advocate Axel Munthe, Villa San Michele should be included on every visitor’s itinerary. Built on the site of the ruins of a Roman villa, the gardens make a charming setting for a tranquil stroll, with pathways flanked by immaculate flowerbeds. If you are here between June and August, you may be able to catch one of the classical concerts that take place in the gardens.

Capri’s most famous attraction is the Grotta Azzurra, an unusual sea cave illuminated by an otherworldly blue light. The easiest way to visit is to take a boat tour from Marina Grande, which is just a few kilometers from the villa. Beautiful though it is, the Grotta is extremely popular during summer. Sunlight enters through a small underwater aperture and is refracted through the water. This, combined with the reflection of the light off the white sandy seafloor, produces the vivid blue effect to which the cave owes its name.

Capri’s best beach is at Marina Grande, where you will find a little sand among the pebbles. Unsurprisingly, it is perennially popular with families. From here, small boats will ferry you over to the popular swimming spot, Bagni di Tiberio. The villa is also a few kilometers from Villa Jovis. Villa Jovis was the largest and most sumptuous of twelve Roman villas commissioned by Roman Emperor Tiberius on the island of Capri, and his main island residence.

This vast complex, now reduced to ruins, famously pandered to the emperor’s supposedly debauched tastes, and included imperial quarters and extensive bathing areas set in dense gardens and woodland. It is located a 45-minute walk east of Capri Town along Via Tiberio. Beside the ticket office is the 330-meter-high Salto di Tiberio, a sheer cliff from where, as the story goes, Tiberius had out-of-favor subjects hurled into the sea. True or not, the stunning views are real.

Villa Rubino is 54 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 307 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Villa San Michele is 2.5 km, the Grotta Azzurra is 3 km, Monte Solaro Chair Lift is 3 km, Marina Grande is 6 km, the famous Piazzetta di Capri is 5 km, Villa Jovis is 7 km, Villa Lysis is 7 km, and Bagni di Tiberio is 7 km.

Offering a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views over the sea, the villa boasts an exclusive pool and a generous paved poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the charming panorama. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and lemon trees, the villa boasts a generous terrace with a large table for al fresco dining. With a lush garden and gorgeous views of the sea, the outdoor area also features lounge areas for relaxing and socializing.

Designed to blend contemporary style with more than a touch of sea-house romance, the space has been built directly into exposed volcanic rock, creating a relaxing and fresh ambience. An entire floor is dedicated to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. This floor enjoys floor-to-ceiling windows, a woodburning fireplace, walk-in closet, a spacious living area complete with dining table, comfortable sofas with plenty of seating and a large flat-screen TV.

On the upper level you will find three double bedrooms: one bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with shower while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Flooded with natural light, this floor features a modern dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay, and a living room with large windows that welcome in its beautiful surrounding. White-walled, indoors and outdoors, the villa is comfortably furnished with stylish simplicity.

The villa’s position and architecture are complemented by full service and staffing: in-house Italian chef, full-time professional butler, dedicated in-house concierge, daily housekeeping and turndown service. The property has an annex for the staff, meaning that guests receive the highest level of service anytime of day and night. Villa Rubino also has a private vegetable and herb garden, expertly curated by the chef, which provides fresh produce every day, ensuring an exquisite culinary experience.

Retention time
