In just thirty minutes by car, you can reach Florence, a treasure trove of art with an astonishing contemporary vibe. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, a testimony to its centuries of civilization, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset, or to get lost among the city’s myriad alleyways of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow little streets of San Niccolò, where it feels like you have ended up in another time along its centuries-old walls.

In one hour by car, you can reach the walled town of San Gimignano, one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval villages. Surrounded by seven acres of fertile land shielded by a 15th-century stone wall, the villa boasts enchanting Renaissance gardens dotted with ornate fountains and statues. To embrace the splendid Tuscan scenery, Villa delle Dame features six spacious terraces, each with its own spectacular and mesmerizing views. Dating as far back as the early 15th century, the villa has been masterfully restored. There are multiple living spaces including five salons, two dining rooms, and a beautiful library. Up to 14 guests can be accommodated in the seven suites. Many of the suites offer private living rooms, and all feature en-suite facilities, most with luxurious bathtubs.

The Portrait Salon is the largest of living spaces, featuring a custom s-shaped sofa, a period fireplace and a beautiful frescoed ceiling. The adjacent Marble Salon is perfect for intimate dinner parties, featuring a corner bar and direct terrace access, while the Sacristy Room is perfect for entertaining younger guests as it is the only room with a TV. The Medici Salon boasts comfortable and large armchairs overlooking a stone fireplace, while the Tower offers a secluded place to relax and take in the views.

The villa also offers a Coat of Arms Hall, a generous atrium with an impressive glass-domed ceiling, a first-floor loggia with dark ceilings, a family dining room, and a historic family kitchen, as well as a professional chef’s kitchen. The suite can accommodate two guests plus two additional guests in the double sofa bed, on request.
