Located near the heart of Positano, this elegant five-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Palazzo dei Baroni features a spacious panoramic terrace and sweeping views of the sea, providing the ultimate retreat on the Amalfi Coast. The Sorrentine Peninsula juts into the sea like a pointing finger, its rugged shores sprinkled with some of Italy’s most spectacular beaches, its bucolic interior molded by the limestone Monti Lattari.

The sight of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Color is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses built up from the waterside, accessible to one another via an endless array of steep stairs, boast pale sorbet colors. In summer, when the serried ranks of sunbeds fill up quickly, take a boat to explore the many small coves up and down the coast.

The center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes now lined with restaurants serving pasta and shops selling souvenirs.But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. Then there are traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts, the medieval palaces along Via Pietà, the magnificent courtyard of Palazzo Correale, and artisan workshops producing the same wood intarsia for which the town became famous in the 18th century.

The villa is a ten-minute walk from the center of Positano, where all the necessary services can be easily found.

Located in the picturesque hilltop town of Positano, Palazzo dei Baroni boasts a generous fully-furnished terrace and expansive panoramic views, providing the ultimate retreat in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. Perched 194 steps above the sea, the spectacular cliff-top setting of the villa ensures superb panoramas. Offering an impressive sense of elegance, Palazzo dei Baroni can accommodate up to nine guests featuring five bedrooms spread over three levels.

With spectacular views of the town below and the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, this Baroque-style villa boasts a generous terrace perfect for dining and lounging al fresco while enjoying the orange-scented breeze. Offering a calm atmosphere, the villa features a spacious terrace complete with antique-tiled fountain. Surrounded by orange, lemon and mandarin groves, the villa also boasts a quaint loggia inviting guests to unwind while enjoying the spectacular views of the sea.

The Baroque architectural details evident throughout the villa are highlighted by rich jewel-tone color scheme and gilt-framed works of art, giving the property a unique feel, much like stepping into a museum. Offering an elegant atmosphere, the entrance level of the villa boasts a formal living room with double doors leading to the main terrace, and a generous dining room leading to a professional kitchen with large stone fireplace and pizza oven. The entrance level also houses a study with sitting room and fireplace.

Adorned with crystal chandeliers, lavish draperies and inlaid ceilings, the first level of the villa houses an exceptional master king suite with sitting room and spacious en-suite bathroom with large shower. On the same level you will also find an exclusive Master king suite with sitting room, two balconies overlooking the garden, and en-suite bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have access to the communal terrace overlooking Positano and the island of Capri.

Offering supreme comfort and elegance, the second level of the villa, which is the garden level, boasts two comfortable double bedrooms, each with king-size bed and spectacular views of the sea and the town of Positano, or the garden. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms and private access to the garden. On the same floor you will also find a comfortable single bedroom complete with private bathroom with shower. Each bedroom features minibar, complimentary toiletries and hairdryer.

On the lower level of the villa you will find an elegant and modern spa complete with Turkish bath, hot-and-cold water showers, sauna, Jacuzzi with oxygen-therapy, and massage room. Offering a calm atmosphere, the wellness area on the lower level also boasts an exclusive beautifully-tiled pool with counter current units and waterfall. Please note that the villa is not accessible by car but only on foot with 190 steps uphill.

From 2024 on, guests have the option of reaching Palazzo dei Baroni via a convenient public lift directly from the Amalfi Drive. Operating from 8:00 am to 12:00 am, this lift provides a swift means of transportation, allowing guests to reach the doors of the property from Amalfi Drive in a few minutes. Please note that, as the lift is not managed by the property, any inconvenience cannot be related to it. While the scenic 10-minute walk (including 190 steps) remains an option for those who prefer it, the availability of this new lift offers a more expedient and efficient way of access.
