Location and Surrounding Area
Located near the center of Ravello, this elegant five-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Visiting the Amalfi Coast is all about exploring the villages that dot the area. Each village has its own flavor, but all offer a relaxed atmosphere combined with a beautiful setting. With a spectacular cliff-top setting facing Mount Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples, it is no wonder the Amalfi Coast is a must-visit destination on everyone's bucket list.

Sitting high in the hills above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its ravishing gardens and stupendous views, the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal. The Ravello Festival is a classical music festival held in the gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and in a fabulous auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Originally built for the Rufolo family, Villa Rufolo was remodeled in the 19th century by a Scottish enthusiast who preserved the Arabic elements.

Tucked in between mountains and sea, Amalfi is a town best explored on foot. While Piazza Duomo and the main street are home to most of the town’s shops and restaurants, do spend some time wandering and exploring the quieter side streets, where you will find arched passageways, hidden gardens and tiny piazzas. Located near Amalfi, the beaches at Maiori are some of the region's best. These wide stretches of white sand have plenty of amenities and restaurants as well as lots of room to spread out and relax.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Positano. The town climbs the hills in steps, with the oldest houses in the upper part of Positano, either faded red or pink, decorated with Baroque stuccoes. Via Pasitea, the traffic-free street going down to the sea, penetrates the atmospheric heart of the town with its narrow-stepped alleys, houses with vaulted roofs, terraces and tiny gardens that defy the rock. The bright colored articles Positano is famous for, on display outside the shops, blend well with the pastel-colored houses.

The ancient town center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes, now lined with exclusive restaurants serving gnocchi and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs.But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for aristocracy, is now a working-men's club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. Then there are traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts.

If Sorrento gets too much, the laid-back town of Vico Equense, which stands on a sheer tufa cliff just along the coast, makes an attractive base. Beach bums tend to head for the small pockets of sand tucked into coves at Marina di Vico and Marina d'Aequa, walkers tackle the old footpath to Positano, clinging to the cliffs on the Amalfi coastline, and culture hounds hop on the Circumvesuviana train to march around the ancient sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius.

The Property
Situated on a sheer cliff with spectacular views over the sea, Ravello View provides the ultimate retreat for those seeking complete relaxation in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. Trapped between an infinite blue sky and azure sea, the spectacular cliff-top setting of this villa ensures superb panoramas. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, Ravello View can accommodate up to ten guests featuring five double bedrooms and five bathrooms spread over the main villa and the annex.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the villa boasts an exceptional pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the panorama. In the garden you will find the children's playground. With gorgeous views of the sea, the outdoor area also features a spacious patio with al fresco dining area under the shade of a pergola, complete with pizza oven, barbecue and wonderful views over the sea.

Paved with handmade majolica tiles, the ground floor of the main villa boasts a living room complete with decorative fireplace and comfortable sofas and armchairs with plenty of seating. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. With an impressive sense of comfort and elegance, the room also houses a spacious dining area. From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace and the kitchen, which features a dining table and all the amenities you might need during your stay.

On the ground floor you will also find a bathroom complete with shower, and a guest bathroom complete with washing machine. Flooded with natural light, the first floor boasts a second terrace with wonderful views of the sea. The terrace is equipped with a table, chairs and comfortable deck chairs. Flooded with light, the first floor also houses a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, three double bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub with shower wand.

Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the dépendance features a fifth bedroom. You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom from a patio through a French door. The furnishings of the room are cozy and comfortable, and include some antique pieces. The room has a double bed, a small terrace, and en-suite bathroom with bathtub with shower wand. On request, all the five double bedrooms can be transformed into twin rooms. Crib and high chair are available upon request.
