Location and Surrounding Area

Located near the center of Praiano, this elegant four-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Villa Mary boasts exclusive panoramic terraces and sweeping views of the sea, providing the ultimate retreat on the Amalfi Coast. The Sorrentine Peninsula juts into the sea like a pointing finger, its rugged shores sprinkled with some of Italy’s most spectacular beaches, its bucolic interior molded by the limestone Monti Lattari.

The sight of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Color is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses built up from the waterside, accessible to one another via an endless array of steep stairs, boast pale sorbet colors. In summer, when the serried ranks of sunbeds fill up quickly, take a boat to explore the many small coves up and down the coast.

The center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes now lined with restaurants serving pasta and shops selling souvenirs.But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. Then there are traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts, the medieval palaces along Via Pietà, the magnificent courtyard of Palazzo Correale, and artisan workshops producing the same wood intarsia for which the town became famous in the 18th century.

There's a lot to be said for leaving the best until last, and for many Ravello is the jewel in the coastal crown. If Positano is the glamour-puss of the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is its refined, aristocratic cousin. Nestled high on a hill above the sea, Ravello is famous for its secluded villas, ravishing gardens, magnificent views and romantic sense of faded glory have inspired a steady stream of writers, artists and musicians since the days of the Grand Tour.

Offering a tranquil atmosphere, Villa Mary can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests featuring four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over three floors.

With generous terraces overlooking the sea, this magnificent villa boasts an exceptional swimming pooland an exclusive sundeck with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the villa boasts al fresco lounge areas for relaxing and socializing. The outdoor space also features a generous al fresco dining area with barbecue and pizza oven. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the outdoor area is an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying moments of relaxation.

With vaulted ceilings and a tasteful mix of white walls and handmade terra-cotta painted tiles, the ground floor boasts a bright living room with a decorative fireplace and comfortable sofas with plenty of seating. In the living room you will also find a well-equipped kitchen and a generous dining area. From the living room you can access the terrace overlooking the sea. On the same floor you will also find a half bathroom. You can access the second living room through an archway.

Accessed by a short flight of steps from the second living room, the mezzanine level houses a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. On the ground floor you will also find a bathroom complete with shower and sauna. Flooded with natural light, the first floor houses a comfortable single room with a small en-suite bathroom with shower. On the second floor you will find a bright double bedroom and a twin room. These bedrooms share a large bathroom with an exceptional Jacuzzi tub.

Really phenomenal trip and the house was a big part of that. Clean and beautiful with a great Italian feel, the house had just amazing views from every porch, and there are many! Italian Style Villas arranges chef to come in, and a private boat for a day and both were awesome. Could not be happier with how the trip went......really our family of 7 was blown away. Owner Gianluigi was a great host and always available to help. Highly recommend for families with older children and friends. The area has MANY steps and hills to get to town and around coast so elderly and disabled be warned. Also do not plan to rent a car and drive yourself as the driving is very narrow and winds along the coast. Hire driver or take bus and enjoy view and not worry.

“In the Heart of the Amalfi Coast”

“Wow…What a beautiful, bright, perfectly decorated Praiano villa in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. From the moment we opened the door, we were transported to an Italian paradise, so wonderfully appointed and spacious! The amenities are limitless. From the large kitchen to the washer and dryer, fridge and freezer, panini maker, coffee maker, sauna, massage room, pizza oven and barbecue on the terrace abutting the fabulous pool…And then there is Luigi, the owner/host/manager, who is available, but behind the scenes and very humble. The location is just perfect, steps (very many) to town and the SITA bus to take us to Amalfi to the South and Positano to the North. All so accessible. The living space and bedrooms are quite large and the multiple terraces allow for all the fantastic views of Positano, Li Galli and the iconic Faraglioni rocks of Capri in the distance. Markets are available for delivery, cafes at the street level and restaurants all within walking distance. We cannot wait to return!!!”

Retention time
