Enjoying a privileged location between Siena and Florence, Villa La Quercia is the perfect base for day trips to Tuscany’s most beautiful towns and offers a unique opportunity to admire its iconic landscapes and soak up the region’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

In less than an hour by car, you can easily reach Florence, renowned for its priceless heritage. Key sites include the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, and the Galleria dell’Accademia. The churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce serve as art galleries, while the library of San Lorenzo showcases Michelangelo’s architectural genius. Wander through the ancient streets of the city, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and explore the vibrant Oltrarno district.

Villa La Quercia is just a stone’s throw from Siena, Italy’s charming mediaeval town, where the magnificent Piazza del Campo hosts the lively Palio horse race twice a year in July and August. This exclusive property, recently restored to exceptional standards while incorporating modern conveniences, can accommodate up to twelve guests. It offers six bedrooms (five double bedrooms and one twin room) and six en-suite bathrooms distributed over three floors.

The property is surrounded by an exquisitely kept garden featuring a plunge pool with Jacuzzi and a poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers, deckchairs, and parasols for ample shade on hot summer days. The garden also boasts a generous al fresco lounge area where guests can enjoy moments of relaxation with a good book and a glass of prosecco. Additionally, the villa offers an exceptional terrace and a large al fresco dining area with a table under a gazebo, perfect for enjoying traditional Italian food and the mild Tuscan climate.

On the lower floor, the interior living space is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, ideal for unwinding around the fireplace with a glass of Vernaccia di San Gimignano as evening falls. This floor also includes a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area with a large table for up to twelve people. A short flight of steps leads to the double bedrooms Viola and Margherita, both featuring a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor, a second fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious living area with comfortable sofas and armchairs enhance the connection with the surrounding nature, thanks to large windows offering inviting garden views and creating a bright, airy atmosphere with light colours.

On the first floor, you will find two of the villa’s spacious and luminous double bedrooms: Rosa and Girasole. Each room features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, all adorned with light and natural colors. The twin room Peonia, also on this floor, includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Located on the villa’s upper level, the double bedroom Gelsomino offers spectacular views over the surrounding hilltops and includes a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
