Tuscany is famous for its natural springs, whose waters, after having carved the rocks, flow aboveground and create natural pools in which you can bathe and restore your psychophysical balance. The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Chianciano Terme, one of the most renowned thermal bath towns in Europe, whose waters are famous for their therapeutic properties. In just thirty minutes by car, you can also reach San Casciano dei Bagni. Known for its mineral-rich waters, San Casciano dei Bagni boasts a luxurious spa center enhanced by a flourishing natural setting.

The villa is also a few kilometers from the town of Pienza, also known as “the ideal city of Renaissance”, and the medieval town of Montepulciano. Standing high atop a hill not far from Siena, Montepulciano boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia. In less than one hour by car, you can reach the medieval town of Montalcino, extremely well-known for the production of its Brunello red wine, one of the world’s most appreciated Italian wines.

In just one hour by car, you can easily reach Siena, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Italy. Its ancient red brick buildings, the shell-shaped main square Piazza del Campo, and the Cathedral Square, dominated by a stunning Gothic Duomo, make it an absolute must for anyone traveling to Tuscany. In less than two hours by car, you can reach Florence, a treasure trove of art with an astonishing contemporary vibe. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset or to get lost among the city’s alleyways of the Oltrarno.

The Property
Surrounded by nature and immersed in a quintessential Tuscan landscape characterized by rolling hills and valleys, Villa Zaffiro provides a charming setting for those seeking tranquility and privacy in the heart of the Val d’Orcia. This magnificent property, which has been masterfully renovated to the highest standards while preserving the atmosphere of a traditional 18th-century farmhouse, boasts the most sophisticated and contemporary décor. Offering generous and airy spaces ideal for large-scale entertaining, Villa Zaffiro can accommodate up to twelve guests (plus two guests), featuring six double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread over two floors.

Surrounded by more than two hectares of land, the villa boasts an exceptional infinity swimming pool and a spacious poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and enjoy the charming panorama. Offering spectacular views of the Val d’Orcia, the area beside the pool represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. The garden also features multiple al fresco dining areas in the shade of a pergola where guests can intimately spend time together while taking in the unparalleled views of the countryside. Near the pool you will also find a bathroom with changing room and shower.

Accessed by the garden, the ground floor boasts two living areas furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs offering plenty of seating: as the evening falls, sit around the modern fireplace and enjoy a glass of Brunello with your fellow guests. Flooded with light, the ground floor also houses a spacious dining area and a modern fully-equipped kitchen. Against the otherwise backdrop of white walls are bursts of color coming from an eclectic mix of contemporary art. On the ground floor you will also find two comfortable double bedrooms with private garden and en-suite bathroom (one with shower and one with bathtub). Accessed by a magnificent staircase, the first floor boasts four exceptional double bedrooms featuring en-suite bathroom with bathtub.

Please note that the villa can accommodate 12 guests plus 2 guests in two single beds that can be added in the bedrooms according to the preferences of the guests.
