Beyond its extraordinary artistic heritage, a testament to centuries of civilisation, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset or to get lost among the city’s myriad alleyways of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow streets of San Niccolò, where it feels as though you have stepped back in time along its centuries-old walls.

The villa is also a few kilometres from the medieval town of Siena. Its ancient red brick buildings, the scallop-shaped main square, Piazza del Campo, and the Cathedral Square, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it a must-visit for anyone travelling to Tuscany. Dating back to the 15th century, this exclusive castle has been masterfully renovated in 2020. Offering an elegant atmosphere, Castello del Galateo can accommodate up to twenty guests in ten double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread over two floors. The castle can accommodate four additional guests in two double sofa beds located in two rooms.

Surrounded by a generous garden, the property boasts an exclusive saltwater pool (heated on request, extra) and a spacious poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. With a tranquil atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the Tuscan sun and relaxing. Immersed in a large eight-hectare park surrounded by stone walls, the property features sequoias, ginkgo biloba, and ancient cedars of Lebanon, an exclusive consecrated chapel, and a charming vegetable garden.

With an exquisite blend of period charm and modern comfort, the ground floor houses areas designed for leisure time with your fellow guests. Featuring a palette of soft neutral colours, the ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with access to the garden, a living room, a Chinese room with TV, a billiard room, and a laundry room complete with washing machine, dryer, and iron. On the ground floor, you will also find two double bedrooms, each 45 square metres, complete with en-suite bathrooms with showers. There is also a guest bathroom on this floor.

On the first floor, you will find seven double bedrooms. The bedrooms, all luxurious and finely furnished, open onto lounge areas, marble bathrooms, and welcoming relaxation corners. The castle features air conditioning in all bedrooms. Please note that the night porter sleeps in a staff room located on the ground floor.
