The Property
Set in the charming hills of Bagno a Ripoli, just a short drive from Florence, Villa Ripoli is an authentic historical residence dating back to the 1300s. Once home to noble Florentine families and monks, the villa’s interiors still echo their legacy, with carefully preserved antiques, original terracotta floors, and frescoed walls. The villa combines Tuscan architecture with modern amenities, offering guests a serene escape. With seven rooms (five bedrooms and two suites), Villa Ripoli accommodates up to 18 guests.

The villa’s extensive grounds offer a peaceful blend of Italianate gardens, terraces, and a winter garden perfect for relaxation. Guests can begin their mornings with a hearty breakfast on the terrace overlooking the rolling hills or enjoy an afternoon swim in the pool, with aperitifs served poolside as the sun sets to the backdrop of gentle melodies. The grounds provide generous seating and dining areas, ideal for al fresco experiences, including candle-lit evenings with a glass of Chianti under the Tuscan sky.

The villa’s interiors are a testament to classic Tuscan craftsmanship. Each room, whether Superior or Deluxe, is designed for two guests with the option of a double bed or twin beds. Rooms feature refined furnishings, spacious bathrooms with double sinks and large showers, and modern amenities. A highlight is the Deluxe Peruzzi room, which also includes a single sofa bed. Additionally, guests have access to a fully-equipped kitchen for lunches or aperitifs.

The villa also offers two spacious and unique suites, named after noble Florentine families who once resided in the villa. Each suite spans over 50 square metres and is elegantly decorated with antique furnishings, precious artworks, and classic Tuscan details like original terracotta floors and frescoes. These suites, complete with all modern comforts, feature elegant decor, fireplaces, and breathtaking views that enhance the refined, historical atmosphere.

One suite accommodates two to three guests with a double bed and a single sofa bed, offering direct access to the pool and a cosy fireplace. In contrast, the other suite is ideal for two to four guests, featuring a double bed and a double sofa bed, a private living area on the first floor, and a relaxing Jacuzzi tub. Together, these suites provide a refined and comfortable retreat, perfect for immersing oneself in the beauty and heritage of Tuscany.

Inside the villa, on the ground floor where the villa's former chapel was located, there is a small gym available, ideal for fitness enthusiasts. Please note that near the swimming pool, within the villa's park, there is a residence where a family connected to the property resides quietly, without being intrusive. They share only the entrance to the villa and the parking, ensuring privacy. They can also provide valuable insights and recommendations about the area.

Retention time
