The charming village of Val d’Isère itself is a vibrant hub of alpine life, renowned for its lively après-ski scene, gourmet dining, and boutique shopping. Just minutes from Chalet Rouge, you can wander through its quaint streets to discover traditional Savoyard architecture alongside contemporary amenities. From cosy mountain restaurants serving local delicacies to chic bars and cafés, Val d’Isère offers something for every taste and mood.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding area is a playground of world-class winter sports and summer adventures. The extensive Espace Killy ski domain connects Val d’Isère with neighbouring Tignes, providing over 300 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes for all levels. Beyond skiing, visitors can explore scenic hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and crystal-clear alpine lakes, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the French Alps.

A short drive from the chalet, the nearby village of Tignes offers additional activities and entertainment, including ice diving, snowmobiling, and a lively cultural calendar throughout the year. The Property
Chalet Rouge is an exclusive private retreat nestled in the prestigious Les Carats enclave of Val d’Isère. With its enviable ski-in/ski-out location just 10 metres from the Bellevarde slope and breathtaking views over the valley and the Iseran mountain, this luxurious chalet offers an unforgettable Alpine experience. Designed to host up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms, the chalet spans four levels and 220 square metres of refined living space, complemented by two large sun terraces.

Chalet Rouge is accessed either by private lift from the village centre or via a private road. The exteriors of the chalet are a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Constructed with reinforced concrete for optimal soundproofing and insulation, the building is elegantly clad in local Val d’Isère stone, while the roof is covered with ltoze, a typical regional stone. Wide bay windows frame the sweeping views, bathing the interiors in natural light. A spacious balcony and sun deck offer the ideal spot to soak in the panorama.

Chalet Rouge combines Alpine authenticity with contemporary luxury. Indoors, Chalet Rouge has been masterfully designed by Vincent Monod to create a warm, inviting ambience that fuses the authentic charm of the Savoyard tradition with the soft, sun-drenched tones of Provence. Exposed timber, local stone, and bespoke furnishings give each room a sense of understated luxury. A large fireplace in the main living area and another in the master suite bring a cosy alpine glow to winter evenings.

The master bedroom suite has a king-size bed (or twin option), fireplace, and a dressing room leading to an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower. The remaining bedrooms offer timber-clad walls, oak flooring, integrated wardrobes, and en-suite or private bathrooms. The fifth bedroom, a kids' bunk room, accommodates up to four children, with beds both at floor and mezzanine level, its own bathroom and separate WC. To enhance the après-ski experience, the chalet features a hammam steam room.
