The property is just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Manduria, a fascinating old city with a long and ancient history that is still in evidence today. Wander through its narrow lanes to admire historical treasures from bygone ages and taste wines that have been produced in the area for hundreds of years. Its most famous wine is Primitivo di Manduria, a red wine made from Primitivo grapes. Learn about its history at the Museum of Primitivo Wine and enjoy a tasting session in the winery the museum is housed in.

Ceglie Messapica, a tiny village in the Valle d'Itria that is frequently overshadowed by well-known locations like Ostuni, Locorotondo, and Alberobello, is only a few kilometres away from the masseria. For those who wish to see the more grounded side of Apulia, Ceglie Messapica is a bit of a godsend. Regarded as Italy's culinary centre, the village consists of a central village with a castle, piazza, and historic palaces, and an outer area dotted with white-washed trulli.

Porto Cesareo sits on a prestigious part of the Ionian coast, enjoying a long stretch of beach and sparkling clean seas. The popular seaside resort has an amazing 17 km of golden beach facing an archipelago of low-lying islands that form a protected bay. The water is calm and clear. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Masseria Pace can sleep four plus two guests in the main house (two bedrooms plus a double sofa bed), and four guests in two independent dépendances (two double bedrooms).

Encircled by olive groves, the villa boasts an exceptional saltwater pool and a generous, paved poolside area with a comfortable lounge area inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Guests will love spending lazy and relaxing days around the pool surrounded by lawns and olives in complete privacy. Near the pool you will also find an outdoor kitchen with island, pizza oven and barbecue, a dining area under the shade of a pergola, and a handy bathroom with shower. The outdoor area also features a children playground complete with a treehouse, a slide, and a swing hanging from a secular olive tree. Outdoors you will also find a 200-year-old firepit, perfect for intimate evenings.

Main House: Designed by a renowned architect based in London, this masseria is an exclusive retreat for those seeking complete relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Southern Italy. With a soothing colour palette of neutral tones, the interior living space of the main house boasts an impressive sense of comfort with stylish furnishings and abundance of natural light. In the bright open-plan living and dining room, complete with a modern fully-equipped kitchen and a fireplace, doors open onto the outdoor area.

With accommodation all on one floor, the 80-sqm main house offers the ultimate blend of style and modern comfort. The main house can comfortably accommodate four guests in two bedrooms: a double bedroom with a king-size bed, and a twin room, both with access to the garden. A comfortable double sofa bed in the living area can accommodate two additional guests. The bedrooms share a bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Both bedrooms have air conditioning.

Dépendance #1 – Trullo: Cool during the summer and warm in winter thanks to its thick walls, the first dépendance consists in an original Apulian stone house dating back to the late 19th century. Complete with a fireplace and perfect for those who like a bit of privacy, this 15-sqm dépendance can comfortably accommodate two guests in a double bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The bedroom features air conditioning.

Dépendance #2: Overlooking the pool area and the surrounding vineyards, the second dépendance is a haven of peace and calm. With direct access to the veranda, this 25-sqm dépendance can sleep up to two guests in a double bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The bedroom features air conditioning.
