Located in one of the most appreciated areas in Southern Italy, just a few kilometers from the marvelous Adriatic coast and out the charming town of Ostuni, this modern three-bedroom villa is ideally situated to offer complete privacy to its guests, providing a perfect retreat for those who want to explore this exclusive area. Famous for its whitewashed towns, excellent food, dramatic coastal cliffs and beautiful beaches, this area of Apulia features all the ingredients for the perfect vacation.

In just fifteen minutes by car, you can easily reach Ostuni, also known as “the white city”. With its ancient cobblestone streets, grand churches and quaint white houses, Ostuni boasts remarkable history that goes back to the Stone Ages. The Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace are especially striking, but there are many other architectural gems to be found, including the old homes of the nobles: you would not be mistaken for thinking that you are actually wandering around a lovely Greek village.

The villa is just a stone’s throw away from the town of Martina Franca, the largest town in the Valle d’Itria. Being in the heart of the valley, the town of Martina Franca is a great base from which to explore this wonderful area, but spend some time exploring its old center, an interesting mix of golden baroque and Greek-like white architecture with many grand palazzi and churches, and a maze of narrow side streets perfect for aimless wandering.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Savelletri, a pretty port town with beaches and great dining options. Known for the quality seafood, Savelletri offers a traditional fishing village atmosphere. Enjoy some fresh fish just brought in by the fishermen and stroll along the charming seafront. There is a lovely waterfront church with Templar symbols, which is dedicated to the patron saint, celebrated in grand style on the second Sunday of August with a procession by sea of boats.

In just forty minutes by car, you can easily reach Locorotondo, a whitewashed hilltop town designated as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. The old city radiates out around the 19th century neoclassical Chiesa Madre San Giorgio, a church dedicated to the patron saint of the city. Since Locorotondo is perched on a hill, you can get amazing views of the surrounding countryside from the Villa Comunale, the public garden located on the west side of the historic center.

In less than one hour by car, you can reach the town of Alberobello, perhaps the most famous town in the Valle d’Itria due to its typical trulli: the conical rooftops coupled with charming cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses are a simply magical sight. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of a maze of lovely streets and steps lined by trulli. Alberobello is considered a unique and enchanting place, and despite the fact that you may find it a bit touristy, it is definitely worth a visit.

Villa Gaia is 35 km from Brindisi Airport (also known as Salento Airport) and 104 km from Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport. Carovigno is 5 km from the property, Ostuni is 6 km, San Vito dei Normanni is 12 km, Ceglie Messapica is 18 km, Cisternino is 24 km, Martina Franca is 30 km, Savelletri is 30 km, Fasano is 31 km, Locorotondo is 33 km, Alberobello is 50 km, Polignano a Mare is 53 km, and Lecce is 74 km. For golf lovers, the villa is about 30 km from San Domenico Golf Club.

With accommodation all on one level, Villa Gaia can sleep up to six guests in three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom.

Encircled by ancient olive groves and surrounded by nature, the villa boasts an exceptional infinity pool and a generous paved poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a serene atmosphere, the poolside area is perfect for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. Outdoors you will also find a spacious and shaded dining area with barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining.

All natural materials make up the exquisite home. In the bright living room, large glass sliding doors open onto the poolside area while the kitchen features a unique combination of local marble and rich dark wood. Abundant nature surrounds this geometric villa, whose angular structure is softened by luxurious flower beds, scattered shrubs and olive trees. With accommodation all on one level, the villa features three double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower.

The kitchen opens onto an outdoor dining area with a barbecue and a natural marble table set in a shaded pergola adjacent to the pool. Directly connected to the outdoor kitchen is an organic vegetable garden that offers guests all the purity and freshness of local produce. An additional bathroom offers more privacy and comfort for all guests. All suites are simply but elegantly furnished and overlook the garden and grove with a glimpse of the sea view.
