Located near the heart of Sorrento, this elegant villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. With a spectacular cliff-top setting facing Mount Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples, it is no wonder Sorrento is a must-visit destination on everyone’s bucket list. The ancient town centre is laid out on a Roman grid of narrow lanes, now lined with exclusive restaurants serving gnocchi and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs.

However, away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for the aristocracy, is now a working men’s club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. There are also traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts, medieval palaces along Via Pietà, the magnificent courtyard of Palazzo Correale, and artisan workshops producing the same wood intarsia for which the town became famous in the 18th century.

If Sorrento becomes too much, the laid-back town of Vico Equense, perched on a sheer tufa cliff just along the coast, makes an attractive base. Beach enthusiasts tend to head for the small pockets of sand tucked into coves at Marina di Vico and Marina d'Aequa, while walkers tackle the old footpath to Positano, clinging to the cliffs of the Amalfi coastline. Culture lovers hop on the Circumvesuviana train to explore the ancient sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, which were destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius.

Nestled in the hills just below the ridge that divides Sorrento from the sheer southern coastline lies the village of Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, named for its vantage points over the gulfs of both Naples and Salerno. To the west and south-west of Sorrento is a hilly hinterland, the sprawling Massa Lubrense, and a wild stretch of coast that developers have left untouched. Massa Lubrense is home to hamlets and ancient lookout towers, reminders of repeated invasions over the centuries, surrounded by citrus and olive groves.

With its seeming maze of streets and staircases, Amalfi is a town best explored on foot. While Piazza Duomo and the main street host most of the town’s shops and restaurants, do take some time to wander and explore the quieter side streets, where you will discover arched passageways, hidden gardens, and tiny piazzas. Sitting high in the hills above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its stunning gardens and stupendous views, regarded as the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal.

Offering an elegant atmosphere, Villa Riviera is spread over different levels and can accommodate up to ten guests, featuring five double bedrooms, with the option for an extra guest in a single bed available upon request. Additionally, the dépendance can accommodate four more guests in a double bedroom and a double sofa bed, also available on request.

Main Villa:
Surrounded by a lush garden, the villa boasts an exceptional swimming pool. Offering a calm atmosphere, the outdoor area features a spacious paved terrace furnished with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to sit back and unwind, as well as a dining table and a barbecue for al fresco dining. This tranquil setting, immersed in a beautiful garden, is the perfect spot for relaxing and socialising in the midday sun with a good book and a cocktail. Accessed from the garden, the entrance level includes a lounge area, a study, a dining room, and music rooms. Maintaining an elegant atmosphere, the entrance level also houses a rustic kitchen and dining area, along with a lounge.

On the third level, you will find a master bedroom with a private bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub and shower, two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with a bath, and two double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom with a shower. In the largest bedroom, a single bed for one extra guest can be added upon request. On the lower ground floor, the villa features a gym equipped with Technogym equipment and a treadmill, as well as a spa with an 8-person hot tub, Finnish sauna, and sensory shower.

Available upon request and located within the same property, this 45-sqm apartment features an independent entrance and can accommodate up to four additional guests in a double bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed. The apartment includes a living room with a kitchenette and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. It offers modern comforts such as Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, satellite TV, a coffee machine, an oven, a microwave, and a washing machine with a dryer.
