The Property
Once home to one of the estate’s most important churches, Villa Aquila is a remarkable 14th-century property steeped in history and charm. The blend of ancient terracotta tile floors, the original kitchen, and the villa’s imposing stone walls evokes the building’s social significance as the heart of the Estate, where farmers once gathered for Mass. Villa Aquila offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, providing ample space for up to eight guests.

Surrounded by tall, majestic trees, the villa is nestled within expansive gardens, creating an atmosphere of peace and seclusion. The outdoor space is a true sanctuary, featuring a private pool (11 x 5 m) surrounded by a paved area with sun loungers for ultimate relaxation. Adjacent to the pool, a wooden decked terrace offers a dining area with breathtaking views of the estate. For an additional touch of indulgence, a round hot tub sits conveniently beside the pool.

On the ground floor, guests can enjoy an open-plan living and dining area. There is also a separate sitting room, as well as a living room that was once a chapel, preserving the villa's fascinating history. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, oven, and microwave, makes meal preparation a pleasure. A guest bathroom and a laundry room complete the ground floor. For restful nights, the villa features a double bedroom with a king-size bed (190x190 cm) and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Upstairs, three further bedrooms offer ample space and privacy. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. One bedroom boasts a super king-size bed (200x200 cm), which can be converted into twin beds. Another bedroom features a king-size bed (190x190 cm) that can also be arranged as a twin. The final bedroom features a king-size bed (180x190 cm), also with an en-suite bathroom, which is located on a slightly higher level reached by a short staircase.
